Yvonne is a licensed esthetician and comes from a house of creativity. She grew up watching her mom work as a hairstylist and seamstress, which greatly influenced her from the start. She was inspired by the colors and textures of fabric, along with the beautiful hairstyles her mother would create. At the age of five, Yvonne was already creating her own beauty using crayons, watercolors and acrylic paints on paper and canvas. Yvonne took drawing and painting classes in high school before she became a cosmetology student. While attending cosmetology school, Yvonne quickly fell in love with the art of makeup and has not stopped creating since. While in college, Yvonne continued to hone her gift and would volunteer her services to the schools Theatrical Department. Yvonne graduated with her degree in Business Management.
Each person who sits in Yvonne’s chair is treated like a new canvas; each receive a fresh and creative approach. At the same time, she applies her 10+ years of experience in the beauty industry. Yvonne’s beauty history consist of companies, such as Mary Kay, LimeLight by Alcone, as a beauty consultant. Yvonne’s talents have awarded her opportunities on the artistry teams of Benefit Cosmetics, Cargo Cosmetics, Fashion Fair Cosmetics, Smashbox Cosmetics, Temptu and Nars Cosmetics.
Yvonne has served as Key Artist and Beauty Editor for Full Figured Magazine. She has published work in USA Today, Vogue Italia, Chicago Wedding Style Magazine, Young Fashion Kids Magazine, StarBound Magazine, Lucy Magazine, Ellements Magazine and Elegant Magazine. She has worked with following clients, Wilson Sporting Goods, NBCUniversal, Southwest Airlines, Culver’s Restaurant Franchise, USA Olympic Gymnastic Team, Sears, and K-Mart.
Yvonne serves as a mentor, educator and beauty consultant for the organization, "P.E.R.K.S " where she instructs teen girls in the area of self-worth, beauty and etiquette. Yvonne strives to bring satisfaction to every client she in encounters.
